The NCC Unit of B H College, Howly was introduced in the college at the time of its inception with grand mission of nurturing dynamic youth of this college. The college unit was introduced under the charge of the founder Principal Sjt. Satya Nath Das. Now the cadets strength is SW=39, SD=41 total=80. During the last 5 years, a numbers of cadets successfully participated in different National, state and unit level camps. In this year total 16 cadets has got appoint in different defense service. Among then Mokibul Islam and Sofiqul Islam selected as SI of Assam Police. Shahar Ali, Narayan Arjya and Farijul Khan selected in Army in the last year. Khairul Islam, Jinnat Ali, Mohidul Islam, Madusmita Barman
( Commando), Nikita Nath and Zaman seleced in Assam police in this year. SUO Azizul Mullah Participated in 15 August Parade in New Delhi. UO Simi Baishya awarded as best cadet in unit level camp.

yoga day 2018
NCC unit organised International day yoga in 2018. Total 71 cadets participated in the programme. Dr. Bhushan Ch Pathak ( Principal) also actively participated in the programme.
A lecture programme organised for the NCC cadets to develop swacha Bharat awareness. Dr. Bhushan Ch Pathak (Principal) delivered a lecture on "what can I do for my city".
Principal, ANO, CTO, JCO, PI and cadets conclave is organised at B H College, Howly. 400 cadets participated in the programme from 13 schools and colleges.
In connection with International Yoga Day, NCC unit of B H College hosting the celebration of yoga day. The yoga programme started with an opening speech by Dr. B Ch Pathak , Principal, B H College, Howly. 215 cadets from 4 colleges and schools actively participated in the programme.
On 12.01.2022 NCC unit organised gardaning programme by NCC cadets. 50 cadets were actively participated in the said programme.

On 08.05.2022 NCC unit organised Foot poliching Rally with verious banner, poster, to create awareness about women education, empowerment among the nearest village of the college . 62 cadets were participated in the Rally.

NCC Unit celebrated Independence Day on 15 Aug 2023 at college premise. Dr B C Pahak, Principal hoisted the national flag. In this programme 41 NCC cadets and 40 students from hostel were participated. Dr. Shahjahan Ali, Dr. R Khataneer, and Dr. Sultan Ali Ahmed delivered lecture in the programme.

In this programme Inspector Mijanour Rahman, 10 CRPF participated as speaker. Senior Faculty Prof. Prabeen Maheswari, Inspector Shahjahan Ali Ahmed, SI Abu Taleb, Dr. Nirmali Malakar, Dr. Sultan Ali Ahmed , ANO Lt Dr. Shahjahan Ali participated in the programme.
