Today, 14-11-2024 at 3 pm, BH College Library and BH College Rural Library celebrated Children's Day in an innovative manner in the grounds of the Rural Library with the cooperation of nearby school children. The event was judged by three students of B .H. College who won prizes in the college's book talk competition. They are Pragyan Kaushik, Nayana Talukdar and Jubilee Sharma. The prizes of the book talk competition were also distributed at the function .BH College Librarian Dr. Tribeni Pathak announced the prizes of the book talk competition. Hon'ble Principal of the College Dr. Bhushan Chandra Pathak, Head of English Department Dr. Sultan Ali Ahmed and Senior Associate Professor of Economics Department Shailen Kakati discussed the significance of Children's Day. The program began with the performance of Chandamita Das's song 'Ma Ami Shadialai Jamei' by Keshav Mohanta. The event was attractive by Dr. Prashant Rabha's song, Assistant Professor, Assamese Department. The winners of the speech competition were Bharat Burman, Salmina Khatun and Habiza Khatun. The event was attended by Professor Dandeswar Deka, writer Rupali Neog Bora, Professor Dr. Renu Hazarika, Piali Ray, Selina Jaklina Parbin, Chandamita Das, Shatabdi Sharma, etc.
